Penzance AFC have announced the appointment of management duo Lee Major and Darren Smith to manage the reserve team.
On the appointment, Chairman Godfrey Adams states: “The pair are experienced in bringing youth players through and we look forward to them working with our new first team managers, Ade Ferrell and John MacCallum, to provide a pathway for players to perform at a higher level.”
Smith says: “To join a massive ambitious club with such an illustrious history, having played here as a youngster many years ago, is such an honour. I cannot wait to get to work with the lads and hopefully bring some silverware back to the club. There are going to be some exciting times ahead!”
Major adds: “It is a great honour to be given this opportunity at Penzance and to bring some very exciting times to Penlee Park. It feels like the coming together is perfectly timed and I can’t wait to get to work with the players and members at Penzance.”
The Reserve team's Trelawny League season kicks off on Saturday August 13th.
