AWARDS CONCLUDE SUCCESSFUL SEASON

Penzance celebrated a successful and enjoyable season with a well-attended Presentation Evening in the Pirates Marquee.

For the Reserve Team, who finished a creditable fourth in Division Two West of the St Piran League, managers Lee Major and Darren Smith handed trophies to Kizzy Snowden (top scorer), Connor Thomas (Sportsman of the Year), Lewis Hitchens (Supporters’ Player of the Year), Steve Miller (Managers’ and Players’ Player of the Year) and Adam Lewis (Young Player of the Year).

For the First Team, who enjoyed a best league placing for thirteen years, the winners were Jacob Trudgeon (top scorer), Liam Andrew (Supporters’ and Players’ Player of the Year), Charlie Willis (Managers’ Player of the Year), Silas Sullivan (Sportsman of the Year), and Ollie Butler (Young Player of the Year).

First team captain Tyler Tonkin was named Clubman of the Year. Tonkin also made an award to club Chairman Godfrey Adams as a token of appreciation from everyone at the club for the hard work and long hours he devotes to the cause.

A delicious three-course dinner courtesy of Roseworthy Farm was enjoyed by all, and music provided by DJ Robbie Brown of ROSH who hot-footed it over from his afternoon set at Tunes in the Dunes to be present.
