DISABILITY TEAM UPDATE...

ree

Penzance’s Disability teams contested their third tournament of the season, the second competitive one, at Camborne College on Sunday November 16th.

In the Championship, there were a mixed bag of results. Penzance lost narrowly 0-1 to both South West Inclusive and Keltek Ability, and played out a goalless draw with Dropship. The Magpies did notch a creditworthy 3-0 victory over St Agnes, Danny Woods scoring twice with Coby Wear getting the other goal. The results leave Penzance fourth of five teams in the table.

The club are having a strong season in the League. They lost 1-4 to Keltek Ability A, but won their other three matches – 1-0 against both St Agnes and Keltek Ability B, and 2-1 versus Brandon Trust. Cameron Charmon was top scorer on the day with four goals, Callum “Rooster” Hebden notching the other. The success leaves Penzance top of the table, three points clear of Keltek Ability A.

The next tournament is again at Camborne College, on Sunday 15th December. Penzance Disability are always on the look-out for players at all levels, especially youth.
