FINAL SHOWDOWN AWAITS

Penzance’s Disability team go into their final tournament of the season this Sunday (April 14th) striving to preserve a single point lead over Troon at the top of the Championship table. “This one is going to be very difficult as I'm short of several players,” warns manager Pete Coombes. “We may lose top spot just at the wrong time!”

If you know of any qualifying players who could help out, please contact Peter on 07850 557577 (peter_coombes@yahoo.co.uk). The tournament kicks off a 9.15am at Camborne College, Pool, and support from spectators would be hugely appreciated.

In the League, Penzance will be fielding two teams – the Whites and the Stripes. In preparation for the tournament, they played each other in training at Mount Bay Academy last Saturday, the Whites winning 2-1. Below, Harvey Smith of the Stripes tries to get a shot away whilst being closed down by Calum Bruce.
