PENZANCE AFC DISABILITY AWARDS

Penzance AFC Disability held their annual presentations in the clubhouse on Saturday.

The League Golden Boot went to 16 year-old Owen Charman, and the Player of the Year trophy (voted for by team-mates) was won by his older brother, Cameron Charman, 20.

The Championship Golden Boot was awarded to Connor Thomas (for most goals scored in tournaments), and the Championship Player of the Year trophy was won by Andrew Hesketh.

Andrew lives near Lizard, which shows the extent of the Disability section’s catchment area!

A special award was also made to Caroline Bruce who is stepping aside after eleven years of service as fixture secretary.
