The draw for the Semi-Finals of the Whirlwind Sports Trelawny League's Percy Stephens Cup was made on Monday night. Penzance Reserves, having won their group then a Quarter-Final tie at St Keverne, will travel on Saturday 13th May to face the winners of the winners of the West Cornwall v New Inn Titans tie which is being played this Wednesday evening.
A game again either side will be huge hurdle for Darren Smith and Lee Major's young side to surmount. West Cornwall finished as runners-up to Troon in the Premier Division and also reached the last four of the Cornwall Junior Cup. New Inn Titans are of course no strangers to the Magpies winning both games between the sides, as well as every other league fixture they contested in 2022-23, as they marched to the Division One title. The Illogan based club also knocked Penzance out of the League Cup, a competition they won last Saturday by thrashing Newlyn Non-Athletico 8-0 at Oxland Parc.
