TOURNAMENT SUCCESS FOR MAGPIES

The most recent Green Light Cornwall Disability League tournament, staged on Sunday at Camborne College, was fruitful for the Magpies teams.
The Championship side beat St Agnes 3-1 and Dropship 5-1, losing only to Keltek Ability 2-3. Home from University for the weekend, Connor Thomas plundered 8 goals with Conor Allen and Danny Wood getting the others as Penzance moved up to second in the table.

The League team lost 1-2 to Brandon Trust but won their other 4 games - against St Agnes (4-0), Keltek Ability A (3-0) and Keltek Ability B (3-2) - to stay top of the table. Highest scorer on the day was Wes Hall with 5 goals. Cameron Charman bagged a treble, Zac McClaskey 2 and Mark Polglase the other - his first of the season.
The next tournament is again at Camborne College, on Sunday 8th March.
