Sunday was another busy day of action for Penzance Youth’s various teams. At Boscawen Park in Truro Archie was Player of the Match for the Under-8 Lions against Speak Out United. The Under-9 Tigers played away at Troon whilst the Under-10 Jaguars and Lynxes both had home games at Newlyn Coombe – against Elevate Pencoys and Helston Athletic respectively. Ethan was Player of the Match for the Jaguars and Oliver for the Lynxes.

Andy was star man as the Under-11 Pumas hosted Dobwalls in a Cup tie. The Under-12 Cosmos drew 6-6 at Illogan RBL, Luke and Freddie T both scoring twice. Sonny and Freddie M got the other goals with Charlie named Player of the Match. The Under-14s had a 7-1 Cup win away to Goonhavern. Kirby led the way with four goals, Man of the Match Mason got two and Oscar the other. Marley, who was also Player of the Match, Toby, Charlie, Ollie, Archie, James, Isaak, Cadan, Marcus and Harry all scored as the Under-15s picked up their first league points of the season at home to Redruth United. Finally, the Under-16s drew 2-2 with Culdrose. Zak was Player of the Match with Caleb getting both goals.

Monday (October 12th) is a big night for the Under-18s when they play at Penlee Park for the first time this season, hosting Sticker in the League Cup (7.30pm kick-off).

Next Sunday the Under-10 Jaguars and Lynxes are at away to Troon and Wendron United respectively.

The Under-12 Cosmos have a home Cup tie against St Agnes at Newlyn Coombe, the Under-14s are also in Cup action, against Goonhavern, the Under-15s play St Day whilst the Under-16 Titans have a League Cup quarter-final away to Troon. That kicks-off at 10.30am at Grouter Park.

Finally, the Under-18s face a long trip to East Cornwall to play Millbrook, that fixture at Jenkins Park kicking off at 2pm.
