The most recent Green Light Cornwall Disability League tournament, staged on Sunday at Camborne College, was fruitful for the Magpies teams. The Championship side beat St Agnes 3-1 and Dropship 5-1, losing only to Keltek Ability 2-3. After a complete wash-out of all matches the previous week, four of Penzance’s teams returned to action last weekend. The Under-8 Tigers played away to St Ives Town, the Under-10 Pumas beat Falmouth Community and the Under-11 Cosmos lost 1-5 at Newquay. Penzance’s sides are gearing up for the Green Light Cornwall DisAbility Football League’s sixth tournament of the season, to be staged at Camborne College on Sunday (February 8th).
