The draws for the Cornwall CFA’s 2023-24 knock-out cup competitions were made recently.
In the Senior Cup, sponsored by Ward Williams, Penzance have been handed a home tie against Wadebridge Town. The Bridgers will provide a formidable test. Like the Magpies, Paul Rowe’s side reached the quarter-finals last season, losing an astonishing clash away to Saltash United by the odd goal in nine.
This season’s tie will take place at Penlee Park on Wednesday 4th October.

In the Bond Timber Junior Cup First Round, Penzance Reserves were handed a bye and will therefore start in the Second Round. This is scheduled for Saturday 21st October but, with the Firsts hosting Liskeard Athletic that afternoon, a home tie would have to be played on an alternative date.
